Important Detail of iOS 8: Coming This Fall
At WWDC 2014 Apple announced the release of iOS 8 to be released this Fall. Here are some key details to know about the iOS 8 update and the iPhone 6.
]The iPhone 6 will have a bigger 4.7" display with a higher resolution of 1704 x 960. That is about 416 ppi.
]The screen will now be a combination of glass and sapphire for a more durable display.
]The iPhone 6 will sport a A8 processor along with a M8 co processor that will deliver better performance and improve battery life. The improvements include
- Apple A8 Processor 2GHz Dual Core
- Possibility for Apple M8 co-processor for fitness tracking
- 1GB of RAM according to Ming-Chi Kuo
- 8MP sensor with bigger pixels
- 13MP sensor from Sony
- Optical Image Stabilization or Electronic Image Stabilization (OIS, EIS)
]The touch id will be improved for faster read times and accuracy.
