TechNews| Massive DDOS Attack occured Friday which caused a Nationwide Internet Outage

On Friday the 21st, 2016, two massive DDOS( Distributed Denial of Service)attacks affected Dyn Co. ,a company which manages website domains and routes internet traffic, the attacks on Dyn Co. affected major companies like Amazon, Netflix, Spotify, Twitter, and Tumblr, taking down their sites and making them useless for approximately 24 hour. These attacks were heavily centered in the east coast, but there were also people affected in the west coast and some parts of Europe. According to a statement made by Dyn, "the attack was a result of a "sophisticated, highly distributed" assault that involved millions of internet addresses and a malicious software." We can only hope that it doesn't get worse in the future, but we know it will.
